The Port of Long Beach is by far one of the most impressive marine terminals in the world! This is not only due to the electrification of all the operations including autonomous vehicles and the economic gain from the fivefold increase in productivity, but also because it has the least emissions of any terminal of this size in the world, moving more than 3.3M twenty foot equivalent containers. LBCT has demonstrated that the economy and the environment can thrive together and that it is possible to move goods in a sustainable way. For our supply chain management members looking to positively impact the greenhouse gas emissions for the planet and the environmental justice issues regionally, you will get to see the kind of progressive partner you want to handle your containers as they move from ship to trains and trucks.
