With a track record of supporting over 150 logistics technology businesses, Charley has demonstrated his commitment to fostering innovation in the logistics industry. Charley lives in Omaha, NE and finds great satisfaction in his roles as a dedicated family man, coach, and an influential figure driving innovation in logistics and technology.

Dr. Noel Hacegaba

Dr. Noel Hacegaba is the Chief Operating Officer of the Port of Long Beach, responsible for managing the Port’s day-to-day operations, including Commercial Operations, Finance and Administration, Engineering Services, Planning and Environmental Affairs, Human Resources, Communications and Government Relations. In recent years, Dr. Hacegaba led the Port’s response to the pandemic-induced supply chain crisis, directing the Port’s Business Recovery Taskforce and coordinating with industry, labor and government partners to identify near-term solutions. Under his leadership, the Port of Long Beach opened the nation’s first “pop-up yard” to provide immediate congestion relief and facilitated the first 24-hour terminal operation. Dr. Hacegaba is also leading the development of the Port’s digital initiative known as the Supply Chain Information Highway, which seeks to close the gap on the lack of visibility and data sharing in goods movement by enabling end-to-end visibility and coast-to-coast connectivity.

With nearly 30 years of international and domestic retail logistics experience, Kelan has refined his ability to problem solve and deliver customized logistics solutions. Kelan is the founder and Chief Consultant for Optimum-SCO, a leader in operations efficiency and logistics optimization for the past 14 years. Optimum has found success through adopting Kelan’s philosophy of finding creative ways to improve clients’ overall performance.

Pat Fitzpatrick

Experienced, problem-solving, results-driven Director/Vice-President of Sales and Marketing with over 25 years in Automation, Optimization, Information Systems, Operations, Software and Robotics. Skills and roles include: business development, sales management, marketing, corporate strategy, primarily in the discreet and process manufacturing space. Career path has been driven by creating value in organizations through achieving operational excellence by incorporating new technology solutions into old business and operational structures.

Rauf Ahmed

Over 18 years of experience in supply chain and distribution, Rauf serves as the SVP of Supply Chain Business Solutions at Visionet Systems Inc., a global leader in digital transformation solutions. He leads team of consultants and experts who deliver value-driven and customized solutions for clients in the apparel, footwear, CPG, and food industries, helping them optimize their supply chain and distribution functions.

Wade Martin

Dr. Wade Martin works primarily in the fields of risk analysis related to natural resources and environmental policy as well as local economic development. He has worked on research and development projects for Downtown Long Beach Alliance, CalRECYLES, the World Bank, U.S. Agency for International Development, the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, the USDA Forest Service, the US Environmental Protection Agency, the Government of Indonesia and has been a visiting scholar at Harvard Institute for International Development. This work has focused on policy analysis, risk mitigation, economic development and sustainability as well as the application of benefit-cost analysis to analyze policies and projects. His work in the area of environmental policy and optimal use of natural resources has helped to guide management and policy decision-making at all levels of government and the private sector. Dr. Martin has published in numerous academic journals, edited three books and been a commentator on Market Place on NPR as well as for numerous newspapers. He has served as editor-in-chief of the academic journal Contemporary Economic Policy. He is currently Professor of Economics, Director of the Office of Economic Research and Director of the Institute for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at California State University, Long Beach.

Yujie Su

Yujie Su is an experienced operation, container shipping and logistic leader with more than 10 years industry experience in logistics, maritime asset management, contract negotiation and digital innovation which she utilized to develop complex solutions and drive value for customers. Currently her role is the Head of Product Innovation at A.P. Moller - Maersk Global Innovation Center, leading a series of initiatives including integrated solution (ocean + landside), end to end #visibility and #tracebility, predictive data & analytics to optimize distributions & supply chains and climate-neutral solutions. Yujie Su has lived and worked in three countries, is highly adaptable to cross-cultural environments. She holds a Bachelor's in Industrial Design and a Master's in Innovation and Business.
