A tour of Disney's 610,000 sqft Ontario DC. The Tour will be conducted by the Disney DC leadership and staff, and will follow our Roundtable's general event format: Checkin, introduction, tour, Q&A, closing comments, ending with refreshments and networking.
Disney Ontario handles over 30 million units annually, with a 97% fill rate, and a 99% inventory and delivery accuracy. Normal processing delivers replenishments within 48 hours from the sale-- DC to shelf. IT systems include Oracle Retail for merchandise, and SAP for the general supply and MRO functions. Disney supply chain leadership looks at prudent investments in technology on an ongoing basis to keep them nimble, such as the use of drones and automated guided vehicles (AGV’s), along with other current technology that would make sense in supporting their operation and objectives.
