Many manufacturing plants are closed and transportation to/from the US and around Asia have been compromised. How are companies dealing with impacts on customer service, employees and profits? Kathy Fulton

Kathy Fulton is Executive Director for American Logistics Aid Network (ALAN). She leads the organization in coordinating information and logistics resources to efficiently deliver humanitarian aid. Mrs. Fulton’s expertise sits in the intersection of supply chain and emergency management, concentrating on the critical role supply chain professionals play in crisis response. Preceding her work with ALAN, Mrs. Fulton was Senior Manager of Information Technology Services at Saddle Creek Logistics Services, where she led corporate systems implementation, technical support, and business continuity. Mrs. Fulton is a 12-year member of CSCMP and served terms as the secretary and president of the Central Florida Roundtable. She looks forward to hosting you all in Orlando this fall!

Lisa Gelsomino

Lisa Gelsomino is the President/CEO and founding partner of Avalon Risk Management, a leading provider of customs bonds and other insurance solutions for the international trade and logistics industry. Lisa has over 25 years of experience in the industry, and is an active member of the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association (NCBFAA), the Pacific Coast Council (PCC), and the Trade Support Network (TSN). She serves on the NCBFAA ISF subcommittee and is part of the Trade Leadership Council for the TSN co-chairing the Supply Chain Security subcommittee that assisted with CTPAT Portal outreach. She also serves on the TSN Revenue, eBond, and Surety Account subcommittees. Ms. Gelsomino is on the Board of the International Trade Surety Association and works with CBP through the Customs Surety Executive Committee (CSEC). Ms. Gelsomino has conducted extensive outreach to help the trade better understand CBP’s trade and enforcement initiatives. Ms. Gelsomino is the licensed corporate insurance holder for Avalon nationwide and has served as President/CEO of Avalon for the last 12 years. She holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business and B.S. (Magna Cum Laude) from Northern Illinois University.

Nick Mauro

Nick is an accomplished supply chain and trade compliance executive. He currently holds the role of Senior Manager, Global Logistics and Trade Compliance at Ichor Systems, Inc, a company that produces capital equipment for the semi-conductor industry. Nick has over a decade of experience working in various supply chain and logistics companies such as Hampton Products and various freight forwarding companies. Nick is dedicated to his craft and has spent years obtaining many certifications as he is a licensed Customs Broker, Certified Supply Chain Professional (APICS, CSCP), Certified Global Business Professional, and holds an Executive MBA. His expertise has allowed him to identify and save his employer’s millions through tariff audits, duty drawback, vendor and supplier quality control, streamlined inventory planning and risk management.

Phil Ramsdale

Phil will be the moderator of this event. Phil owns and operate Transport Solutions (TSL), which works with large shippers to optimize their usage of freight service providers. Ship smarter and buy smarter. TSL performs insightful and cost-effective Network analysis studies. Phil has also served as past president of Southern Californian roundtable and brings experience moderating many events as president and fellow board member.
